May 24th bike forecast: more rain

Wednesday: like Tuesday, but worse. Rainy, windy, lame.

In news: in case there were doubts before, the detour is officially in effect on Lake Front Trail between Diversey and North. According to one Chainlink user:

The detour is pretty well marked surprisingly enough.

The mornings tend to be a lot lighter traffic, but there were less people on the detour than I normally see on the LFT.  We’ll see how it is in the afternoon.

Unfortunately we never heard how it was in the afternoon. (We’re guessing wet!!!!)
